Argonauts prepare for home game
The Toronto Argonauts are set to play their first game of the season at BMO Field, hosting the Calgary Stampeders. This marks a return to their home venue after playing their initial seven regular-season games on the road. The venue previously hosted six World Cup matches, which necessitated the Argonauts practicing at Alumni Stadium in Guelph, Ontario.
Despite being listed as the home team in three of their road games, including a 40-34 win in Regina on June 26, a 30-21 loss in Winnipeg on July 10, and a 24-23 loss in Hamilton on July 18, the team expresses enthusiasm for playing at BMO Field. Quarterback Chad Kelly noted the advantage of playing on grass and with fan support. Linebacker Cameron Judge also shared his happiness about returning to familiar territory.
Key player returns and offensive matchups
Chad Kelly, who missed time recovering from a neck injury sustained in a 26-12 road win against the B.C. Lions on July 25, will be back under centre. Kelly has completed 162 of 230 passes, achieving a 70.4 percent completion rate for 2,323 yards and 17 touchdowns this season. He also has nine interceptions, which ties him for the league lead.
The Argonauts lead the CFL in passing yards per game with 365.1 and are second in net offence with 425.7 yards, as well as 18 passing touchdowns. Cameron Judge is also returning to the lineup after missing three games due to a hamstring injury.

During that game, Adams Jr. threw for 405 yards and six touchdowns, in addition to scoring another rushing touchdown. Toronto head coach Mike Miller acknowledged Calgary as a “multi-attack team” that will present challenges.

The Edmonton Elks have recorded a league-high 32 red zone opportunities this season. While they have converted only 15 of these into touchdowns, their ability to consistently reach scoring range makes kicker Vincent Blanchard an intriguing option for Week 10. The Montreal Alouettes have faced 62 opponent plays in the red zone, the second-highest total in the league.
Finally, KeeSean Johnson of the Roughriders leads his team with 67 targets, making him a reliable fantasy option.
